The CineNetTM Gateway Interface Card provides access by standard IBM compatible computer systems to CineNetTM systems on the theatre's network. Programming, data exchange, software upgrades, network event logging and more can be done by a Host or Guest computer. The CineNetTM Gateway Interface Card is available in two versions. The internal version plugs into an 8 or 16 bit ISA slot in any IBM compatible computer. The external version is mounted in it's own case and comes with an AC adapter. Both versions connect to a serial port on the computer.
